Aderic

AI Transparency

Last updated:

Aderic uses artificial intelligence to help businesses identify relevant construction opportunities, understand project context, prepare business communications, process responses, and focus on meaningful commercial conversations.

This page explains how AI is used within Aderic, what information may be processed, which AI service provider we use, and what remains under the control of the businesses using Aderic.

How Aderic Uses AI

Aderic may use artificial intelligence to:

  • understand a business's products, services, capabilities, geographic coverage, and targeting preferences;
  • analyze construction project information;
  • evaluate whether a project appears relevant to a particular business;
  • research relevant company and commercial context;
  • prepare personalized business communications;
  • interpret and classify responses;
  • summarize commercial conversations;
  • assist with identifying appropriate next steps.

AI is used as part of the functionality provided to Aderic customers. It does not independently obtain additional permissions to external accounts.

Support Assistant

The support assistant on aderic.io and in the Aderic app is provided by OneTwoAgent. For signed-in customers it may read a limited, read-only view of their own account, such as lead credits, mailbox status, campaign progress and recent leads. It cannot change the account, and a conversation can be passed to a person on our team. How we added account-aware AI support to Aderic explains what it can and cannot read.

AI Provider

Aderic uses OpenAI API services for certain artificial intelligence functionality.

Depending on the feature being used, information processed by OpenAI may include business profile information, construction project information, relevant company or professional contact context, message drafts, and conversation content necessary to provide the requested Aderic feature.

According to OpenAI, data submitted through its API platform is not used to train or improve its models by default.

Aderic may change or add AI infrastructure providers as the Service evolves. Material changes affecting how customer information is processed will be reflected in our Privacy Policy or this page where appropriate.

AI-Generated Business Communications

Aderic may use AI to prepare personalized business communications based on information such as:

  • the customer's approved business offering;
  • confirmed geographic targeting;
  • relevant construction project information;
  • the business or professional recipient;
  • available commercial context.

Aderic is designed for relevant business-to-business communication associated with identifiable commercial opportunities, rather than indiscriminate mass messaging.

Businesses remain responsible for the use of Aderic in accordance with applicable law, provider requirements, recipient preferences, and Aderic's Terms of Service.

Google and Connected Email Accounts

Aderic may allow a business to connect Gmail or Google Workspace so that Aderic can send email from the business's own connected account.

When Google OAuth is used for email sending, Aderic requests only the Gmail permission required to send email on behalf of the connected user.

Aderic does not request Google API permission to read, modify, organize, or delete the user's Gmail inbox for this functionality.

Aderic may use separate reply-routing infrastructure to receive responses to Aderic-managed conversations without requiring general access to the customer's Gmail inbox.

Authentication Credentials Are Not AI Inputs

Aderic does not intentionally provide the following information to OpenAI or other AI models:

  • Google OAuth access tokens;
  • Google OAuth refresh tokens;
  • Google App Passwords;
  • ordinary email account passwords;
  • API secrets;
  • payment credentials;
  • other authentication secrets.

Authentication credentials are processed separately from AI-generated content and AI analysis.

Google User Data and AI Training

Aderic does not use information obtained through Google APIs to train, fine-tune, or improve generalized or foundation artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Aderic does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, data brokerage, unrelated profiling, surveillance, or credit-worthiness decisions.

Aderic's use of information received through Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Replies and Conversation Processing

When a recipient responds through an Aderic-managed conversation, Aderic may use AI to help determine whether the response represents:

  • commercial interest;
  • a question;
  • a request for pricing or additional information;
  • a referral to another person;
  • a lack of interest;
  • an opt-out request;
  • an out-of-office response;
  • another conversation state.

Aderic may also use this information to summarize the conversation and assist the customer with an appropriate next step.

Authentication credentials are not required for this AI analysis and are not intentionally included in AI inputs.

Business Control

Businesses choose whether to connect an email account and which account they connect.

Businesses provide or confirm information about their offering, service territory, and other important targeting restrictions.

Aderic may automate authorized parts of a workflow, including message preparation, scheduling, response processing, follow-up management, and response classification.

Customers may pause applicable outreach or disconnect supported integrations.

Accuracy and Human Judgment

Artificial intelligence can make mistakes.

AI-generated analysis, classifications, recommendations, and message content may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or based on incomplete source information.

Aderic uses structured information, source data, software rules, safeguards, and review mechanisms to reduce these risks, but does not guarantee that AI output will always be correct.

Aderic should not be treated as the sole source of truth for legally or commercially binding decisions.

Privacy and Security

Aderic applies technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect customer information and connected-account credentials.

For more information about information collection, processing, retention, Google user data, third-party providers, and user rights, please review our Privacy Policy.
